Bladz Skate Shop Sherwood Park was established in October of 2007, opening up on Main Blvd. in the Millshaven Shopping Centre. Former owner Tim Duhaime would gain many loyal customers, with support predominantly from the local minor hockey associations: Sherwood Park Minor Hockey, Strathcona Minor Hockey, and the Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club.

In 2010, Tim would welcome Ty Wyard-Scott to the team, whom has recently became the new owner of the Sherwood Park Location, with Tim staying to help out the shop. Bladz has been quite involved in the local hockey community, with Ty coaching in the Kings Club, and Tim supporting these teams’ year after year.

In 2011, Bladz would moved locations, just north of Millenium Place, on Provincial avenue in the Summit Swing Stage building.

Our NEW current location as of June 15th, 2021 is in the Super 8 building, just inside the west entrance on Strathmoor Drive – a two minute drive from our previous location.

Services included at this location are:

• Fresh Gear equipment cleaning
• Skate repair
• Skate fitting
• Maximum Edge Profiling/Sharpening.

Merchandise for sale includes Lowry’s tape, laces as well as Step & JRZ Replacement Steel. We also sell Gear Halo merchandise including stick wax, thin skate socks, Pro skate socks, unwaxed/waxed laces in multiple colours, dry-pack deodorizers, and customizable replacement steel carriers. Top-notch service is the priority, making Bladz the best option for any skaters’ professional skate profiling/sharpening needs.
