The Process

At Bladz Skate Shop all staff members have been trained in the Maximum Edge skate sharpening system. Maximum Edge uses a seven-step patented squaring and finishing process:

• Machine Calibration
• Blade Preparation 1
• Machine Sharpening
• Blade Preparation 2
• Finishing Pass
• Blade Calibration
• Blade Finishing Process

Using this finely honed process you will receive the same consistent results from any of the members that many professional players are receiving from their equipment managers who have taken the Maximum Edge training program.

DO NOT WALK ANYWHERE ON BARE BLADES. Use your skate guards even on rubber matting. Grit and dirt on matting can cause your edges to break down prematurely. Nothing will enhance the life of your sharpening as adhering to this one simple rule.
